Delhi & Varanasi - Painting and Cultural Tour
Dates: 18th October- 1st November 2008
This trip offers a wonderful opportunity to experience ancient and modern India - from the thriving modern city of Delhi to the ancient sacred sites of Varanasi.
We have two days to explore Delhi before boarding the train for an exciting and colourful overnight trip to Varanasi. We have ten days to explore this extraordinary ‘City of Light’ from our hotel overlooking the Ganges. Finally we return to Delhi for two days of shopping, sightseeing or further exploration.

North India - Painting and Cultural Tour
Dates: 4th to 18th October 2008
This is a unique opportunity to explore North India at a pace that suits you, accompanied by enthusiastic and experienced guides with a special interest in the art, history and culture of the region.
Travelling north from Delhi, our journey will take us through the lush agricultural plains of the Punjab, then climbing steeply into the foothills of the Himalaya. From the Tibetan enclave of Dharamasala to the old British outpost of Shimla there is a rich and diverse environment to explore. Finally we will travel south to Agra for a visit to the incomparable Taj Mahal.
