Room 13 Aragon is now well established within the school with two resident artists working one day a week with children, parents and carers, and members of the local community.
The Room 13 Aragon committee has been involved in promoting the studio throughout the school and also deciding on future projects.
The opportunity to design the new paint job for the Room 13 car prior its departure to Mongolia was great fun for all involved as well as providing committee members with a few new skills. Funding from Extended Services has helped to provide Room 13 Aragon with initial materials and equipment. It is now up to Room 13 Aragon to try to generate its own income and the committee will be looking and dicussing further suggestions in the near future.
Since the employment of David and Louise, they have now started to run a variety of art classes and clubs for a range of people attached to the school and the community. The committee is looking for future projects for the coming year and hopes to build up further partnerships.
