Please be aware that for the comfort and safety of all concerned, Room 13 only travels with small groups. Our trips are therefore run on strictly limited numbers. We advise anyone interested to enquire and book early to avoid disappointment.
Years of experience in organising and leading Room 13 expeditions has led to our team having access to cultural insights and local knowledge of many areas.
Now there is the opportunity to join us on a working holiday or characteristically idiosyncratic cultural tour.
Journeys with Room 13 are tailor made to suit the individuals involved. Our trips are based on a selection of basic itineraries and we work with the full expectation that each group travelling with us will be able to discuss available options and formulate the trip to suit themselves, with guidance and advice from experienced Room 13 expedition leaders, and the benefit of knowledgeable guides.
The Room 13 guides are all professional artists and during the trip will be happy to give instruction on all aspects of painting, drawing or photography . We will readily facilitate time for participants to work in sketchbooks or journals at places of interest along the way, and look forward to thorough discussions of the days experiences and any work produced over dinner each evening.
The trips and expeditions on offer are ones that members of our team have first hand experience of running. The hotels we use are clean and comfortable - many of the owners know us well and the agencies with which we work are long time associates of Room 13.
